Gossip Girl Writers and Producers Tease Final Season Info via Twitter

Posted by Brittany in May 11,2012 with No Comments

As we let you know earlier, “Gossip Girl” has been renewed for a 6th and final season with 11 episodes starting in the fall. The Gossip Girl writers wasted no time before taking to twitter about the news.

Scheming, huh? Chair fans may be excited to learn that Sara Goodman, the writer behind some of the show’s best Chuck and Blair scenes has been named the new Executive Producer to replace Josh Safran.

For those of you who are still worried about whether 11 episodes (or a finale season at all) will be enough to satisfy you, hopefully you will be able to take the comfort that we have from a tweet posted just a short time after the news broke by series creator Josh Schwartz.

Here’s to a great final season!
